Custom SharePoint development with SPFx

Némoura builds web parts, extensions and Teams apps with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Microsoft's official model for extending SharePoint Online. The code is written in TypeScript, runs with each user's permissions and is handed over to you with its documentation, so your team can maintain it.

What we deliver

Concrete deliverables, in your environment

Web parts

Page components connected to your lists, Microsoft Graph or your APIs, with Microsoft 365's Fluent UI interface.

Extensions

Customisation of lists and libraries: columns, commands, site headers and footers.

Teams apps

The same solution published as a tab or personal app in Microsoft Teams.

Modernising what you have

Replacing injected scripts, classic pages or legacy solutions with supported SPFx components.

How it works

How a project runs

  1. Scoping workshop

Requirements, screens, data used, required API permissions and your tenant's security rules.

  2. Development in short iterations

Each release is deployed to a test site in your tenant so users can try it.

  3. Go-live

The .sppkg package is deployed to the app catalog and permissions are approved by your administrator.

  4. Handover

Git repository, installation documentation and a handover session with your team.

Good to know

The points we check with you

User permissions
An SPFx web part runs with the signed-in user's permissions: it only sees what that person can see.
API permissions
Access to Microsoft Graph or a protected API must be approved once by a tenant administrator.
Lifecycle
The SharePoint Framework is updated regularly: we tell you which version is used and what work to plan for upgrades.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to build an SPFx web part?

It depends on the screens, data sources and permissions required. After the scoping workshop, we give you a breakdown into releases and an estimate for each one.

Can the web part be changed after delivery?

Yes. The source code is in your repository and documented: your team, Némoura or another provider can evolve it.

Does the solution also work in Teams?

Yes, an SPFx solution can be published as a Teams tab or personal app, as long as this is set up in its configuration.
